This is the village where Abhimanyu, the husband of Srimati Radharani, and his family lived. This village is known as Jao. There is a Radha Krishna temple in this village called the Radha Kanta Temple. The priests at this temple are friendly. There are Deities of Radha Krishna on the main altar, to the left are deities of Abhimanyu, his mother Jatila, and Kutila. This temple looks like a small fort and is located on a small mound in the middle of this village
In this village are also the Madana-Mohan Temple, the Dauji Temple, and Braja-Mohan Temple. On the east bank of Kishori Kund is the Kishori Temple.
Javat can easily be visited either while coming or returning to Nandagram, from the main road that goes between Delhi and Vrindavana. It is only a ten-minute side excursion.
Directions:
Javat is a small village. This place is 3km northeast of Nandagram, just off the road going to Kosi. From Nandagram you go about 3km, and then you make a right turn onto a road that only goes right, and you go about 350m until you come to this village. Directly in front of you is the Radha Kanta temple on top of a small hill. To get to the temple, you walk about 10 seconds on the path to your left.
