Overview

The purpose of this pilgrimage guide is meant to assist you in developing your transcendental journey through Sri Vrindavana dhama. We hope that you will enjoy this spiritual experience as you read about the history of these most important tirthas. We suggest you delve into the inner meanings of these eternal pastimes and relish associating with the most exalted Vaishnava personalities as you plan your journey.

The first step is to pray for the mercy of Srila Prabhupada, who has revealed Vrindavan to the eyes of the world. Second, offer a prayer to Vrinda devi, the protector of Vraja dhama, and to Srimate Radharani, the queen of Vraja dhama, to allow us entrance into Lord Krsna's eternal abode of Vrindavana dhama. We beg for the blessings of all the Vaisnavas who follow the teachings and true traditions of the eternal abode of Sri Vrindavana.

"Simply by walking in Vrindavan
one reaches the benefits of a great
pilgrimage at every step."

Ten Offenses to be Avoided When Visiting the Holy Dhama

1) To blaspheme or to not respect the spiritual master who has revealed the holy Dhama.

2) To think that the holy Dhama is temporary.

3) To commit violence against any resident of the holy Dhama or visitor of the Dhama, or to consider them ordinary people.

4) To earn money through the worship of the deity or through the chanting of the holy name.

5) To think that the holy Dhama is part of any mundane province or country, such as UP etc.,

6) To consider the holy Dhama like other places of pilgrimage related to some demigods, or to try to measure the holy Dhama.

7) To commit sinful activities while you are in the holy Dhama.

8) To consider Vrindavan Dham to be different from Navadvipa Dhama.

9) To blaspheme against the scriptures, which glorify the holy Dhama.

10) To not have faith and to think that the glories of the holy Dhama are an imagination.
