Radha-Ramana at Radha Kunda

A Comprehensive Guide to Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma

This temple worships the pratibhu murtis of Sri Sri Radharaman. The original Radharamana temple in Vrindavana was established by Srila Gopal Bhatta Gosvami Also seen on the altar here are the Deities of Revati-Balarama. It is said that when all the Gosvami Deities were moved to Radha-Kunda during the Moahmmedans attack on Vrindavana in 1670, the Deity of Radharaman stayed behind and was hidden in Nidhuvana until the danger had passed. Nevertheless, by the desire of all the devotees, the pratibhu murti of Radharaman was istalled in a temple at Radha-Kunda. Srila Prabhupada visited this temple in November 1973, during a visit with his disciples to Radha-Kunda.
