Seva Kunja is one of the rasa-sthalis--the sacred place where the rasa dance took place. Specifically, it is also the place where Lord Krishna served Srimati Radharani by decorating Her hair with flowers as well as massaging and painting Her lotus feet. Radha and Krishna sometimes spent the night in this place, dancing with the gopis and enjoying Their various transcendental pastimes. There is a small temple here called Rang Mahal, which is dedicated to Radha and Krishna's pastimes.

Lord Krishna's transcendental rasa dance performance can never be compared to the mundane dancing of conditioned souls. Krishna's rasa dance is a spiritual affair of the purest love exchanged on the spiritual platform between the Lord and His greatest devotees, who had all taken the form of gopis or beautiful cowherd damsels. These gopis were by far the most beautiful women in the universe, but they were especially beautified by their intense mood of loving devotional service to Lord Krsna.

Near the entrance to Seva Kunja is a kunda Lord Krishna created by pushing His foot into the ground. He created this kunda just to please Lalitadevi when she was thirsty and wanted water to drink.
