The Deity in this temple was installed by Narottama dasa Thakura at the Kheturi festival in West Bengal. Srinivasa Acarya performed the abhiseka. All the important Vaisnavas of the day attended the first ever festival to celebrate the appearance day of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Of the five Deities installed at that time, this is the only Deity to have have been brought to Vrindavan for worship.

Directions

This temple is at the far end of town, between the Rangaji Temple and the Tekari Rani Temple.
